Drop in the source
Import a supported recipe page, paste useful text, share a post with its caption, or photograph a cookbook page. Incomplete sources stay honest and ask for what is missing.
Your private cookbook
Turn recipe pages, shared captions, screenshots, and cookbook photos into editable recipes—then carry them through planning, shopping, pantry checks, and focused cooking.
Plate & Paper is not another feed. It is a private native workflow for the recipes you already care about, with review before save and no account required.
Import a supported recipe page, paste useful text, share a post with its caption, or photograph a cookbook page. Incomplete sources stay honest and ask for what is missing.
Edit ingredients and directions, add a cover, organize collections, favorite keepers, scale servings, and keep the original source attached.
Plan meals, merge ingredients into shopping, remember pantry staples, cook step by step with persistent timers, and keep a cooking history.
No Plate & Paper account, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics SDK is required. Photos and screenshots are recognized on-device, and cookbook backups go only where you choose.
A clean review step, ingredient checklists, meal planning, pantry memory, background timer notifications, and history turn saved inspiration into a repeatable dinner system.
These are the fastest ways to resolve common questions. If something still is not right, email us and include your iOS version and what you were doing.
Some social platforms do not expose full recipe captions to apps. Share the link together with its caption or screenshot, paste the recipe text, or photograph the recipe. Plate & Paper never invents missing ingredients or steps.
Open Plate & Paper Settings and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are verified by Apple against the Apple Account that originally subscribed. You can manage or cancel the subscription in App Store settings.
Open Settings to save a .plateandpaperbackup document in Files or send a verified household copy through Apple’s share sheet. Another iPhone can restore that copy after validation and confirmation. Backups made under the former Supperkeep name (.supperkeepbackup) and original ReciDrop working name (.recidropbackup) remain readable. Backups include covers, collections, plans, shopping, pantry, and history; active timers and pending share imports are not included.
Use Delete all data in Settings to clear recipes, covers, collections, meal plans, shopping and pantry items, cooking history, active timers, notifications, and queued share captures. No account-deletion request is needed because Plate & Paper has no account.
